Education High School Diploma or GED
Experience Must possess 8+ years of relevant IT/Help Desk experience or related experience and training
Citizenship Requirement US Citizen

Location Ft. Huachuca, AZ
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the initial point of contact for remotely troubleshooting hardware/software PC, network and printer problems.
Provide users with professional and courteous service.
Provide expedited support for VIP clients and mission critical systems.
Ensure detailed troubleshooting information is outlined via ticket system (Remedy).
Provide phone and walk-up support for customers and staff.
Ensure that voice mail and email messages are retrieved and action is taken if necessary.
Perform PC diagnostics, network troubleshooting, system analysis, update drivers, troubleshoot software applications, and CAC PIN Resets.
Research and prepare plans for the escalation of complex computer problems.
Communicate and inform manager of issues (e.g., High Priority client requests, project\task status, outstanding issues, research findings, procedural changes).
Proven ability to work independently or only under general direction.
Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with team members and clients.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
Candidates will be subject to a government background investigation for access to classified information
Excellent organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with team members and clients
Certifications Preferred:
Level I Support Technicians in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M
IT Computing Environment certification (i.e., Microsoft IT Certified Professional)
CompTIA A+ or Security+ Certification with current enrollment in Continuing Education (CE) program.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
