Job Title: Pest Controller I
Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for a Pest Controller I in Ft. Huachuca, AZ.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Sprays chemical solutions or toxic gases and sets mechanical traps to kill pests that infest buildings and surrounding areas. Sprays chemical solutions or dusts powders in work areas. May clean areas that harbor pests, using rakes, brooms, shovels and mops preparatory to fumigating. Other duties/tasks as assigned.
Qualifications: Must possess the following certifications: Right of Way and Weed
Physical Requirements: In an 8-hour day, must be able to continually bend, squat, kneel, lift, twist, climb, reach, stand and walk; to use hands for repetitive pushing, pulling, and single grasp motion; and to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 70 pounds and to move objects in excess of 100 pounds, and travel by government or company vehicle to work location or to other destinations as required.
Additional Qualifications: Must possess a valid driver's license, insurable driving record, and ability to read and write English. Must be able to pass a company background check. Must possess or be able to obtain a Fort Huachuca Access Badge. Pre-employment drug test.
Mental Qualifications: Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision. Must be able to deal with others in a diplomatic and positive manner.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
