### Summary
This vacancy has been extended with a new closing date of Monday, 27 AUG 2018.
The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is US Citizens and Non-US Citizens within 75 miles of Fort Huachuca. This includes Military Spouses and Involuntary Separated Military Members moving into the area within 30 days.
This position is located at MWR Buffalo Corral on Fort Huachuca.
This is a "Flexible" position (0-40 hours) with no eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans.

### Responsibilities
Incumbent's main job duty will focus on instructing patrons of a recreational facility in horsemanship, applying practical knowledge of equestrian activities.
Riding lessons may be given in English or Western.
May be required to occasionally lead a trail ride.
The rare possibility exists that incumbent may be required to assist with individual rentals, boarding, group events, special events, feeding, care of horses, or basic maintenance repairs of riding equipment.
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle to deliver horses to special events.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Occasional travel - Incumbent will travel occasionally to on and off post locations in support of horse shows, purchasing, or for special events.

### Conditions of Employment
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
Must be willing and able to ride, saddle, and handle horses and feel comfortable in occasionally leading trail rides.
Must possess a valid state driver's license.
Must be willing and able to work Monday through Sunday, Days and Evenings, as well as occasional Holidays for special events.
Must be willing and able to travel occasionally to on and off post locations in support of horse shows, purchasing, or for special events.
A pre-employment occupational physical is required for this position.
Must be able to occasionally lift items weighing up to 45 pounds, as well as stand, walk, and bend for lengthy periods of time.
### Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Must have work experience that includes the following duties: Assist with individual rentals, boarding, group events (e.g. pony circles, organized trail rides, etc.); assist with feeding, care of horses, basic maintenance repairs of riding equipment, etc.
2. Must have three years of work experience instructing riding skills in both English and Western.
3. Must have work experience in a customer focused environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
