JOB DESCRIPTION:
Preform IT Installation and Team Chief duties for LAN and WLAN upgrades at medical facilitates throughout the United States.
Duties include supporting the Installation Site lead in the following:
- Organize telecommunications installations efforts;
- Perform site surveys and documents current site telecommunications configuration and user requirements;
- Design and optimize telecommunications topologies;
- Development of engineering installation packages;
- Develops on-site installation schedules.
- Mobilizes telecommunications installation team;
- Documentation of the configuration changes at each site.
Candidate will need to be Proficient in:
- Using common test equipment (e.g. digital test sets, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers);
- Testing communications equipment/systems and following standard test procedures; and must be proficient at trouble-shooting problems with telecommunications equipment to include system interfaces.
- Experienced at trouble-shooting and activating circuits.
- Able to prepare detailed test reports.
Travel:
- Up to 50% within the U.S.

Clearance Requirement:
- US Citizen.
- Must have a SECRET security clearance
Required Education and Experience:
- Must have a BICSI Installer 1 certification
- Preferred BICSI 2 Copper or Fiber Optic certification
- Must have 5 or more years of experience supporting and leading efforts in 2 or more of the specific engineering support and installation support areas listed below:
- Category 6 copper UTP and STP cable and fiber optic cable installation, termination, labeling, and testing.
- Design and installation of, but not limited to, cable tray, cable ladder, and surface mount raceway/duct, racks, cabinets, rack/cabinet/equipment grounding, work area outlets, conduit, life safety (grounding/fire stopping), and labeling.
- Experienced with meeting TIA standards relating to telecommunication installation of inside plant cabling and infrastructure for data systems
- Experienced with IT equipment procurement policies.
- Experienced with current DHA LAN/WLAN installation standards.
- Experienced with primary and backup power to include commercial power, UPS systems, circuits and panel boxes.
- Installation personnel will be trained/certified by the vendor/manufacturers, or equivalent, with products in use, including, but not limited to:
- Hilti & STI Firestop training and certification
Desired Skills:
- A background in Army Information Systems Engineering and Technical Support related to Installations and Testing.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
