Sr. Network SME

Summary: This Sr. Network SME provides subject matter expertise to the USARCC-C in the secure operation of the NIPRNet and SIPRNet enterprise network infrastructure.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position) Provide subject matter expertise on network and infrastructure. Maintain access control lists (ACL). Make all ACL modifications to the USARCC-C managed network devices with no disruption in service. Maintain accurate and standardized network site diagrams that include all USARCC-C managed devices, active network interfaces, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, subnet masks, attached circuits with purchased bandwidth rates, Command Communications Service Designators (CCSDs), and routing information, store them in a shared area central location accessible by only authorized users, and provide a copy to Government POC. Ensure that all devices managed by the USARCC-C are working correctly with such Government-provided network management tools such as Spectrum, BMC Network Automation (BNA), NetScout, eHealth, DIRECTRON, Access Control Servers (ACS), and new tools as fielded. Provide support at the USARCC-C Network Operations Center (NOC) 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to push ACL modifications and troubleshoot outages and other network issues. Create, add, delete, audit, and update Deny All/Permit by Exception (DAPE) security policies, including Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Guide (STIG) compliance. Maintain accurate and complete ports, protocols, and services (PPS) for USARCC-C managed sites. Review PPS requests for accuracy and security concerns. Operate, monitor, sustain, and secure such devices as routers, switches, firewalls, OOB management routers, virtual private network (VPN) concentrators, and access control servers. Respond to engineering changes and modify network architectures accordingly. Provide a weekly trend report to depict trends of network outages and degradations, and generate other trend reports as tasked by the COR.   Non-Essential Duties: Other duties as assigned   Supervisory Responsibilities: None  Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.) Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience; OR Associates Degree and 10 years of experience; OR High School Diploma and 12 years' experience IT Level I; IAT II; CSSP-IS; CCNP; Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate; IAT Level II Baseline Certification; ITIL Foundations certified (within 3 months) required iWATCH; AR 25-2 - IA Awareness; AT Level I; Level I OPSEC; CUI; ALMS Security; AHIMA HIPAA - Privacy and Security training required Secret clearance required   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Leadership and self-direction skills are highly desired.Ability to solve complex problems utilizing creative thinking skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to critically analyze and understand the systems and communicate system requirements to the customer and leadership. Ability to travel as required. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
