We are looking for a candidate with Information Technology (IT) services background for a US Army Regional Cyber Center - Continental United States (USARCC-C) contract.  US Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) serves as the Army Service Component Command to USCYBERCOM for Cyberspace Operations and is under Tactical Control (TACON) to Joint Forces Headquarters Department of the Defense Information Network (JFHQ-DoDIN) for DoDIN Operations and Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO). ARCYBER is the primary Army headquarters responsible for cyberspace operations in support of Army and Joint requirements and serves as the single point of contact for reporting and assessing Army cyberspace incidents, events and operations in Army networks, and for synchronizing and integrating Army responses thereto.   Responsibilities: Provides 24x7 Theater Defensive Cyberspace Operations Intelligence Support (DCOIS) that provides intelligence support to cyberspace operations, including contingency operations and exercises, through research, evaluation analysis, integration, and interpretation of information from multiple intelligence and theater sources. Provides written input to daily, weekly, and ad hoc requirements to keep the USARCC - C Director apprised of intelligence issues, coordination efforts, and future plans. Tools used to facilitate the mission may be located on the following networks: NIPRNet, SIPRNet or Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS). Performs technical analysis of computer network intrusion events and malicious activity in support of cyberspace intelligence efforts. Analyzes trends and statistics of cyberspace activity to provide proactive indications and warnings of malicious cyberspace activity throughout the DoDIN that are affecting, or may affect Army networks in the future. Performs filter queries of network flow data and analyze results for anomalies and malicious indicators. Analyzes the origins, pathways, and methodologies of malicious cyberspace activities to attribute, model and predict future intrusions. Analyzes computer network intrusion events and malicious activity to support intrusion detection and cyberspace-attack warning. Provides crisis response and mitigation techniques to deny further exploitation by the adversary; synchronize and integrate intelligence activities in order to detect, analyze and recommend mitigation of cyberspace threats and vulnerabilities. Provides recommendations for appropriate actions, to the USARCC-C Director and Chief, DCO-D, in order to mitigate vulnerabilities, correct faults, and defeat or defend against threat activity.   Required Skills: Minimum 5+ years of IT Security related experience Possess exceptional knowledge and experience with commercial computer intrustion tools including but not limited to:  CCIU LogCollector, EnCase Enterprise / Cybersecurity, AccessData eDiscovery, Mandiant Redline, Tanium, etc. Experienced in NIPRNet - Appliance, Windows 2003/2008/2008 R2, Linux Red Hat 6, Emulation, SIPRNet - Windows Server 7/2003/2008, 2008 R2, Intrushield LINUX, Infinistream, Cisco IOS, ScreenOS, PAN-OSTM, FortiOS, McAfee Secure OS, BlueCoat SGOS, BlueCoat AV OS, Red Hat LINUX. Certifications: CNDSP Analyst IAT Level III Baseline Certification ITIL Foundation Certified (or must be able to obtain within 3 months of contract start or hiring date) In depth experience of ITL best practices including utilizing Remedy ITSM.   Education:    BS degree (MS preferred) in a technical field (Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, or Management Information Systems), or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
