Minimum Qualifications (Screen-Out Element):
Ability to lead or supervise as a Small Arms Repairer Leader, performing common firearm repairs, assembling, disassembling, and repairing rifles, crew served weapons, and shot guns. Working under the supervision of a Supervisor who issues instructions on work sequences, procedures, methods, and deadlines. - Failure to meet this Screen-Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprint reading)Ability To Lead or SuperviseAbility To Use and Maintain Tools and EquipmentKnowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc.Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic)Trouble shootingUse of Measuring Instruments Physical Effort:
Work requires walking, bending, and long periods of standing- The incumbent often lifts subassemblies or small arms weighing 15-20 pounds and may carry large assemblies weighing up to 50 pounds. Working Conditions:
Works inside where minor dirt, grease, and dust exist. Works in well-lighted rooms, which must be dust free and moisture proof. Must work in poorly lighted rooms when breakdowns occur in older buildings. May receive cuts and bruises or major burns. Acid fumes are hazardous to eyes when Parkerizing or bluing weapons. Many weapons contain highly compressed springs, which are hazardous to work with. Constant danger from picking up a weapon, which has not been unloaded. Mule working at a firing range or other outside sites is exposed to inclement weather. Danger of serious injury exists relative to test firing or unloading jammed weapons.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
